Role Overview

We’re looking for Business Development Representatives who can help AMP Advance grow through strong referral and channel partnerships. You’ll be responsible for identifying, contacting, and building relationships with brokerage firms, banks, accountants, consultants, and other referral partners who work with small business owners seeking funding.

This role is focused on partnership development, not direct-to-consumer sales. You’ll introduce AMP Advance’s funding solutions, educate partners on our programs, create reliable referral pipelines, and help turn new relationships into consistent deal flow.

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build referral partnerships: Identify and develop relationships with brokerage firms, banks, accounting firms, business consultants, and other channel partners.
  • Educate partners: Clearly explain AMP Advance’s funding solutions, approval criteria, submission process, documentation requirements, and partner benefits.
  • Manage partner relationships: Serve as a primary point of contact for referral partners, answering questions and helping them understand where different funding products may fit.
  • Coordinate deal submissions: Work with partners to collect basic client information, package referrals properly, and route opportunities to the internal funding team.
  • Support channel growth: Help onboard new partners, track activity, follow up on submitted deals, and identify ways to increase referral volume.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy: Log partner conversations, update relationship stages, track referral sources, schedule follow-ups, and manage pipeline activity in Zoho CRM or similar systems.
  • Collaborate internally: Work closely with sales, underwriting, processing, and management teams to ensure referred opportunities are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Represent the brand professionally: Build trust with referral partners by being responsive, knowledgeable, transparent, and consistent in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Clear, confident, and friendly communicators
  • Calm under pressure—even with frustrated customers
  • Prior sales experience (finance a plus)
  • Comfortable using CRMs (Zoho preferred)
  • Organized, coachable, and naturally curious
  • Strong empathy and active listening skills

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a business development role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in business finance or lending (training provided)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach
